I made a wish for a few items last night and received a wonderfully generous gift certificate in response to my wishes! Thanks to my very kind friend and ModCloth for making my holiday season that much better!

I would love to be able to buy anything from Modcloth! I spend hours looking through all your beautiful clothes, but due to the fact that I’m a broke college student I don’t have tons to spend. My Modcloth favorites right now are the Political Science Major Blazer and the Hollywood Skyline Coat.

I’m wishing for a little wiggle room between my *needs* and my *wants* this season. So many cute things fall too low on my shopping list when there’s un-fun stuff to be bought like groceries and bills to be paid.

I placed an order last night for the Swing in Your Step skirt (from the 50% off sale!) and pink flower string lights (yay dorm decor!), but this is still on my wishlist: http://www.modcloth.com/shop/dresses/leave-a-penne-take-a-penne-dress <3

I wished for a year of quick djustments and much learning, check. I wished to make work more cheery, check. Still wishing for some more cute winter clothes but with ModCloth that should soon be check too. (love the plaid ition dress)

I have a few wishes for this holiday season! One of them is buying more ModCloth clothes, especially the things I really need, instead of want!

Another one (non ModCloth related) is helping my parents become healthier! My dad had a severe heart issue earlier this year, and in order to become better, he needs to lose weight and become healthier. My mom is helping him by dieting with him and being his partner in everything that he does. While my sister and I support them as well, I truly am thankful for the love my parents have for each other (Met in high school, and will be married for 24 years!). And so, I wish for them to do their best, no matter how much or how little they lose, just because they are doing it together to have my dad be healthier :)

I wish for my dear ones to find happiness and contentment in their everyday life, and that my boyfriend and I will be able to go on a long overdue vacation :)

For myself, I wish for a dress to make me feel pretty in the Christmas parties I’ll be attending :) Way too much to choose from at Modcloth, but I’ve narrowed it down to these lovely red numbers: http://www.modcloth.com/shop/dresses/frankly-i-don-t-give-a-dress and http://www.modcloth.com/shop/dresses/cue-the-compliments-dress?view=reviews

I’m wishing for good luck and good health to my family and friends, as well as some new things from ModCloth: The Streetcar Tour Dress in Black, Cry-ceratops Tee, The Hop, Scoop and A Jump Necklace, the Siblings Flat in Little Sis, and All My Friends Are Dead (the book)! Happy holidays!

I wish that the pruple pea coat I had in my bag in the morning wasn’t dumped out and out of stock when my hubby brought the credit card home in the afternoon. And I wish that Modcloth was re-ordering this item but they aren’t. Also wish they would have left the coat on my notification list in case some are returned (they sound as if they are cut small through the shoulders). but it was immediately erased. My main wish is when your bag or wish lists are changed by Modcloth it would be nice to get a heads up instead of suddenly realizing something is missing. My wishes won’t come true. A disappointing Thanksgiving for me.

I’ve gotten lots of great clothes from Modcloth which have really helped my spirits after losing 65 lbs. due to illness, My wish is that my MRI taken today to scan to see if I am still cancer free comes back negative! Want to be wearing Modcloth finds for many years to come!

I wish I had the budget to buy things I don’t necessarily need to stay clothed every day, but that I still love.

I wish to bring warmth to other’s hearts this season, to let them know I care :)

I wish that this holiday season will be great–catching up with family members, old friends, etc.–and I wish that next year will be even better than this one. (: I also wish that I have enough money to buy new clothes; I’m currently trying to lose weight after piling on pounds due to a severe episode of depression… During my recovery I learnt how to dress well and flatteringly for my body type, and I love it! Gives me extra confidence, and it’s helped me learn to love my body so much more. I’ve decided to give away my overabundance of t-shirts and unflattering tops to thrift shops and charity, and I’m trying to re-fill my wardrobe with more dresses, better tops and nicer coats, so anything from ModCloth will just make my day!

ModCloth has always been on my holiday wishlist since I discovered you a couple years ago. I recently purchased your Nature Guide Romper, but am hoping that my family can discover the joys of ModCloth and we can buy each other gifts from you. (Psst family, I’m secretly hoping to acquire the Wuthering Delights coat c:! )

I wish I could make it back home to be with my family for Christmas.

This year I wished for many things, but one of the ones that I really want is for my dog, Max, to make it through another year. He is a thirteen year old Laborador Retriever, and he is the best dog ever. Over this year he has been moving stiffer and limping a bit more, and his eyes are getting cloudy, although he can still see and hear excellently for his age. I just couldn’t imagine losing him anytime soon, and although we have two other young dogs, Max has been “my” dog since I was five years old, and been with me to cure my heartaches these past ten years. I know that whenever I am sad, all I need to do is go bury my face in his neck and he’ll be there with kisses and snuggles. That is my one big wish for him, and for me.

Im wishing for a good year with the people I love, more books to read, and some goodies from Modcloth..like: The four-square dress in forest (http://www.modcloth.com/shop/dresses/four-square-dress-in-forest), the Featured Home Dress, crafty companion ring in gold (http://www.modcloth.com/shop/rings-pins/crafty-companion-ring-in-gold), and the gold elephant in the room ring (http://www.modcloth.com/shop/rings-pins/gold-elephant-in-the-room-ring).

There are many oh so pretty Modcloth dresses that I’m wishing for!

  22. Anna 11/26/2011 at 1:12 pm #

My wish is for the Beguiling Beauty Dress! It’s gorgeous! But my most important wish is for my family to be safe and healthy this next coming year. I got the wonderful gift of becoming a nurse this November, so I’m complete :)

I’m wishing for my love life to get sorted out. It’s in shambles right now and I’m having a hard time making sense of it.
On the Modcloth front, I really want the Expecting Guests Dress to come back in stock! I had ordered it but it oversold :( If that doesn’t happen, I’m willing to “settle” for the Shoes Wisely Heel, hehe :D

  25. Christina 11/26/2011 at 4:31 pm #

I wish for success and luck.

Modcloth–I would consider myself very lucky if I was bestowed a gift card from you this Christmas. :)

I am such a huge fan of modcloth. I look at the website everyday at the new arrivals and always adding things to my “wishlist”. I order stuff from modcloth almost every 2 weeks, thats how much I love you. The clothes are so unique and I get compliments on everything I wear from modcloth, from the jewlery to the dresses, to the stockings. I have recommeded other people to your website as well. I would love to buy one of your beautiful coats for the cold winters in Wisconsin, where I am from. A gift certificate of appreciation for being such a wonderful customer would make my Christmas wishes come true for the holidays. I love you MODCLOTH!

  27. Dina 11/27/2011 at 8:07 am #

I wished that my friends and family would help me make Christmas less of a commercial wasteland this year and more of a time to enjoy each other’s company, since we all live so far apart now. They all really came through for me. Buying local if at all and using our excess to help out a few good charities. And, if I may call upon the spirit of Thanksgiving, I’m grateful anytime I can purchase something from ModCloth, which I’m proud to say has it’s beginnings in my hometown of Pittsburgh! Congrats on all of your success, ModTeam!

Definitely wishing for that welse corgi calender. Is there anything cuter?

  30. Liv 11/27/2011 at 1:55 pm #

I have a lot of wishes….sadly, most of them can’t be bought. However, I do have my eye on a few clothing items. I guess I don’t need them though, which is why I’ve been hesitant to buy.

  31. Kari 11/29/2011 at 12:01 am #

While I do have other wishes not available on Modcloth (like actually having space to put my books so I can use my desk as more than just a book shelf! *hint*hint* hubby!) the biggest Modcloth wishes I have are for the Insider info skirt, and the Coach Tour dress in vert, although if I could afford to there would be several more on the list, but beyond those top two faces it gets too hard deciding.

My my employer is closing down my department on 12/30 so I’m wishing for a job to keep the bills from invading my home. Once I have a job I will celebrate it by buying the When the Night Comes, dress and a pair of the Rad-irondack Booties! Best wishes and warm holidays ^_^
