Bit by 31 Bits: An Accessories Brand Built on Giving Back

Not every accessory boasts of as much charitable charm as the handcrafted creations of do-good designer 31 Bits. In fact, they’ve pretty much flipped the typical production paradigm. Not only do they work to employ and empower women in need in Uganda, they also work to provide socioeconomic benefits that include everything from finance training to health education, to ensure the women’s overall well-being.

It’s an ethical approach to business that we support and admire, so we’d like to share their story. “We grew from 20 to 60 people in two months!” says Alli, their Director of PR & Marketing.

For holiday gifts with special stories, snag the Beneath the Rainbow Necklace, Frisbee Yourself Necklace, or Interlocked in Imagination Necklace.

Welcome to ModCloth, 31 Bits!
