Style Soundtrack: Oh Snow Lovely

Winter welcomes many wonders, but one of my favorites has always been gazing out the window, watching the snowflakes swirl around and fall onto the street below — you know, that ‘inside a snow globe’ feeling. Sipping a nice cup of cocoa while enjoying that kind of enchanting evening just makes even nicer.

For such an occasion, I put together an ensemble of soft and subdued colors, warm layers, and glistening accents that set a scene for snow-gazing. To match, I created a soundtrack of dreamy classic and indie rock songs. Featuring songs from indie rockers like Galaxie 500 (one of my all-time faves) to classic rockers like Neil Young, it’s full of lusterous sounds and wintry whimsy.

So, fix yourself a cup of hot tea or mulled cider and have a look and listen to this Style Soundtrack!

About Cindy

Pun intended. Cindy loves dreaming up witty quips and groan-worthy wordplay almost more than anything else. In fact, you could say this girl just wants to have puns. As an avid fan of the written word and a librarian at heart, she also loves used book stores, especially ones that harbor cats. When she’s not reading or writing, she likes exploring historical roadside America, taste-testing classic cocktails, embarking on meandering thrift shopping excursions, and drooling over vintage handbags and basset hounds.
