Inside Story: Make It Snappy!

Is an overwhelming amount of holiday decorations dabbling with your unique aesthetic? Need some extra accent oomph to keep your interior’s style suited to your tastes?

Welcome back to ‘Inside Story,’ our four-part interior design series featuring super simple, low-commitment projects you can conquer in just a few hours. For this round, we’ve invited Victoria of Sfgirlbybay to show us how to create a collection-based vignette featuring her favorite hobby.

Part III: A Camera-Clad Vignette
by Victoria Smith of Sfgirlbybay

“If you follow my blog at all, you’ll know I have a bit of a thing for photography and all things camera-related,” says Victoria. “I love all these sweet, snappy gadgets I found on ModCloth!”

To create your own media-rich vignette like Victoria’s, pair a few things from our cameras and electronics store with a title or two from our bookshop.

“I grouped an assortment of hobby-related items together on an end table in a scattered fashion to create an eye-catching arrangement that speaks to my style. My favorite pick is the I Felt Photogenic Camera Case. It’s perfect for stashing a small digital camera on the go. I do love snapping street photos, so it’s right up my alley!”

Try it with broad themes like music, travel, or any other pastime you enjoy! We suggest snagging the Topped with Glamour Headband, Pearly Winter Gloves, Until We Tweet Again Mirrored Wall Decor, What Would Audrey Do Book, and Pearl Glam Necklace or A Kiss of Glam Lipstick in Carmine  for a cinema-inspired exhibit that boasts of classic Hollywood glam.

Stay tuned for the next pad-pampering portion of this four-part interior design series, and don’t forget to let us know how your touched-up tabletop turned out!
