Aw, darn, I just left reviews on like, 15 products. Oh well!

  2. Suzanne 01/16/2012 at 11:12 am #

Can I add pics to products I’ve already reviewed? But with an outfit I’ve styled it around?

    • Joanna 01/16/2012 at 3:45 pm #

Yes, if there is a way to do that, please let us know :-) I took a picture of a dress after I reviewed it and would love to add it 1. to the review and 2. for the contest!

    • ModCloth 01/16/2012 at 6:18 pm #

Hi, Suzanne! Great question! Unfortunately, this must be submitted via a new review, as there is no capability in place to add photos to past reviews.

It will be so fun to see what everyone is rockin this season! Love this!

  4. Amanda 01/16/2012 at 5:40 pm #

Is it a random drawing, or will the reviews be judged?

    • ModCloth 01/16/2012 at 6:19 pm #

Hi, Amanda! This is a judged contest based on creativity in both personal style and the photo itself!

  5. Veronica Cluck 01/16/2012 at 11:00 pm #

can’t wait for my shipments so i can get my entries done in time! if not, i still have some past items i still need to review! :)

  6. Krystine 01/17/2012 at 10:15 am #

Can I leave a review on an item that has sold out?

    • ModCloth 01/17/2012 at 1:34 pm #

Hi, Krystie! As long as the item i still live on the site, you may submit a review for it- even if it’s out of stock!

  7. Olga 01/17/2012 at 2:53 pm #

How do we include hashtag #freshphoto? Do we just type it in in the end of the review text?

    • ModCloth 01/18/2012 at 8:35 am #

Hi, Olga! Yep, just add that tag to your review and you’re good to go!

  8. Olga 01/18/2012 at 6:16 am #

Is this contest just for the resent purchases? Can we pick an item from “My reviews” since 90 days?

  9. ModCloth 01/18/2012 at 10:24 am #

Exactly! You may choose to review any item you’ve purchased :)

  10. Jaclyn 01/19/2012 at 7:03 pm #

When you mentioned “hashtag,” at first I was thinking this was a Twitter contest. But you mean we just type #freshphoto anywhere in the review?

    • ModCloth 01/20/2012 at 12:41 pm #

You’ve got it, Jaclyn! Just include that hashtag in your review!

  11. Leah 01/19/2012 at 9:57 pm #

If I have already written a review for an item I reviewed awhile back, can I write another one and include a photo and the tag?

    • ModCloth 01/20/2012 at 12:42 pm #

Hi, Leah! Unfortunately, our system only allows you to submit 1 review per item purchased! Sorry about that.

  12. Stephanie O. 01/22/2012 at 2:58 pm #

What if I got something as a christmas gift? Can I still leave a review even though I didn’t buy it? For example, all of the products ask if “you have it, write a review” and you just click the button to write the review. Would those count or do you only count the ones that you’ve actually bought?

    • ModCloth 01/25/2012 at 10:37 am #

Hi, Stephanie! Definitely- you can write a review for gift! Simply go to that product page and select “leave review”! If you have any questions, shoot community@modcloth.com an email :)

hi, so i bought the ‘Sleek it out’ dress in hazelnut and wanted to write a review… but it’s no longer available? Can I stll review it?

    -liv

    • ModCloth 01/25/2012 at 10:39 am #

Hi, Liv! If the item is not available on the site any longer, there is no capability to review that item. However, I still encourage you to share your photo via our Facebook [http://www.facebook.com/ModCloth] even though you won’t be entering the contest!

  14. Molly 01/23/2012 at 2:06 pm #

What if you just purchased am item but it says ‘No longer available’ on the website?

    • chocoliv 01/23/2012 at 7:39 pm #

yea, that was my question too…. what dress did you get?

  15. Rebecca Faye 01/25/2012 at 8:28 am #

I have the same question as several of these gals. I bought three dresses and one jacket at the end of December and last week but they’ve all gone into the realm of “No longer available”. I love the pieces I got and took a risk on some of them because they didn’t have many reviews, or didn’t have reviews from someone of my size!

I’d love to see the feedback be left visible so that folks could see what is being said about a piece and then, even if it is no longer available, request to have it stocked again! I’ve read several reviews where folks waited months for a dress to come back after entering “It’s gone!” territory, finally got it and loved it!

If it’s at all possible, even if not for this competition I’d like to submit my feedback, maybe to one of the representatives? Photos, description and review to be included!

  16. Meeghan 01/26/2012 at 11:19 am #

Hi, I just entered a review and forgot the image of the shoe (being worn) and the hashtag! Anyway to go back in and re-submit?

    • ModCloth 01/26/2012 at 2:05 pm #

Hi, Meeghan! Unfortunately, once a review has already been submitted, we are unable to add a photo. I apologize for this! I hope you have something else to review for this contest!

  17. Shelley 01/26/2012 at 11:59 am #

Someone is posting on the Modcloth Facebook page saying that they were told by a Modcloth Rep that they could still enter, even though they submitted reviews before the contest, by posting on the Modcloth Facebook wall with the hashtag and photo. I just noticed they have edited their post now to remove the explanation of why they posted on the wall, but it still has the hashtag and photo. Will these be considered entries? From the rules it does not appear this is allowed. Please clarify. Thanks

    • ModCloth 01/26/2012 at 2:03 pm #

Hi, Shelley! Thanks for bringing this up! I apologize for any confusion! Unfortunately, to enter this contest, you must enter via submitting a product review from 10 am PST on 1/16 -10 am PST on 1/30.

    • Shelley 01/26/2012 at 7:02 pm #

Just to clarify, it is a review here on this site, not on the FB wall, correct?

    • Shelley 01/27/2012 at 7:59 am #

Oops you clarified that above, sorry! Brain fart. :)

  18. Mary 01/26/2012 at 9:37 pm #

I submitted a review with photos a few months ago, but noticed it never ended up being used on the product’s page. I know you guys review reviews, but I was never told a verdict on it. Does this mean I should probably tweak my reviews for the contest? Does this question make sense because I feel like I’m not phrasing it correctly….

  19. mbeougher 01/27/2012 at 6:07 am #

I don’t think I’m going to get my new order in time since it still hasn’t shipped :( I hope you do this contest again. I would love to enter.

  20. Liz 01/27/2012 at 8:02 am #

Can we add multiple photos in one review?

  21. emily 01/27/2012 at 12:43 pm #

I was going to ask if you can add a photo to a previous review but I found the answer above. Maybe if you do this contest again, the rules could be changed so you could submit a photo with an old review. I’d love to enter the contest but I’ve reviewed all my recent purchases already.

  22. Carman 01/27/2012 at 4:10 pm #

The only item I’ve bought from ModCloth (and LOVED) is no longer on the website :[ Now I have nothing to review.

  23. TT 01/29/2012 at 10:28 am #

This contest, I feel, was not thoroughly thought through. I went to leave a review of an item today that I received last week yet under my reviews it is not listed. That section of my personal page says that all my items have been reviewed even though I have never reviewed an item before. I spent yesterday evening snapping pictures for this contest only to find items that I purchased just a week and a half ago to no longer be on the site. Sadness. In the past I remember you leaving items listed for weeks at a time after they sell out to allow people to get notifications on restock. FRUSTRATING to say the least.

  24. Ariel 01/29/2012 at 2:28 pm #

i have some item i have previously ordered and It wont let me review them. i got to view the previous reviews and those wont even show up. Help!!!???!!!

  25. Beth 01/31/2012 at 10:28 am #

Fun Contest, I wish it ran longer so I have more time (and money) to purchase items and figure out how to add pics. Oh, well, hope this contest comes back again!
