Wearing tons of layers and a bulky coat is starting to feel a bit monotonous as we dream of the quickly approaching spring weather, so I thought I’d try my hand at styling three (San Francisco) winter looks with the classic Met Your Match Coat by British designer Miss Patina. Just a little bit of layering inspiration for a chilly day!

Graphic Designer Sam sports plenty of layers in our Met Your Match Coat, Make It Network Blazer, A Delicate Wish Top, Sound Trek Shorts, Wherever You Wander Backpack, and City By The Beige Boot. This look is all about interesting proportions, unexpected layers, and plenty of texture. I opted to mix tweed with lace and corduroy, and added a blazer in place of a simple sweater for a bit of interest.

Molly, Fashion Writing Team Lead, looks every bit the girl-on-the-go wearing our Met Your Match Coat, Ripple Effects Scarf, Maritime Meandering Sweater, Styling The High Road Pants, Upwardly Mobile Satchel, and Kiltie Pleasure Heel.

For Molly’s look, I decided to go for a casual cool ensemble with a pair of easy slacks, a simple sweater (we sized up for a more relaxed fit), and a cozy scarf with plenty of texture. I wanted to have fun with color, so I opted to play with an unexpected mix of warm and cool colors.
I know her ankles are exposed, so I’d suggest swapping them out for some cozy boots if you’re braving some seriously freezing temps.

Turi, Blogger Relations Specialist, looks ’70s chic in our Met Your Match Coat, Lady on Lexington Top, Take Carrot Sweater, Know What I Jean Skirt, Stepping Out Boot, and Pudding Pie Bag.
For Turi’s look, I opted to layer a pretty collared blouse beneath a cozy sweater tucked into a longer length skirt. Since it’s not quite time to pull out the wedge sandals, I opted to pair her denim skirt with a pair of tall boots for a retro vibe. Just add tights if you’re knees are feeling chilly!

How would you wear this coat?

Oh Man, I want to wear all three of those.
I love it when you guys do the “three ways” series b/c it always shows me the many possibilities of dressing an outfit with the same piece. Love all the looks (especially EVERYONE’S tops), but I’m especially loving the Upwardly Mobile Satchel Molly’s wearing!
I LOVE the top one! So cute. :D
I am seriously obsessed with tweed. Adore it all three ways!
awesome look ! i love the jacket ! http://life-in-pink-by-ce.blogspot.com/
You all look super :) I love Turi’s 70s look! I want this coat! x
I’d have a longer length with Polite Pairing Dress in Spots, with the higher Stepping out Boot in chocolate. I would wrap the sweet sayonara scarf around her neck, give her the Just Sew Stories bag and keep her hands warm in the Leisurely drive Glovettes. It my mouth water just thinking about it!
I love it!
I love all of these looks they are adorable! I wish I could wear it! I especially love Molly’s look, those heels are amazing! I can’t wait to get presents for my 20th birthday soon! Definitely on my wish list!
