Color Crush: Corey Lynn Calter Fall 2012

This past Fashion Week, Corey Lynn Calter was a refreshing splash of color against a Fall 2012 season dominated by dark colors and edgy themes. The moment we walked into the presentation, we were greeted by a bold backdrop of pink polka dots and citrus stripes. And as the models walked out, we squealed with excitement over this fun, vintage-inspired collection. From the bright eyeliner to the vibrant colors and bookish vibes, we can’t wait to get our hands on this collection! And while we may have to wait until Fall, we’ll be taking styling tips from the cute layered socks and tights to the cute shoes by Seychelles!

Would you sport these retro-chic styles?

Haven’t gotten enough of these inspiring images? You can view a full gallery including even more photos from the event on the ModCloth Facebook Page!

Oooo it’s all so 60s and so colourful. In a similar vein I saw a yellow jacket in Gap today with the wooden toggles, it had Spring written all over it!!!

Great pics! So colorful, fun, and wearable! I love the sophistication and modesty of the vintage feel, and that orange bird blouse with the variegated orange-hued skirt is amazing! As for the Seychelles shoes, MORE MORE MORE!!!!!! It must have been a blast to attend this event; thanks for giving us an inside scoop! Inspired, I think I’ll attend to my freezer and have my own “scoop” of rainbow sherbet !!!

I would definitely wear these! I love the layered socks and tights! My favorite piece was the orange cape from the 4th photo. Actually, I love the whole outfit. I think I’m going to have to start wearing gloves. They really add some polish to the outfit.

    Check out my new post!

So wonerful! Attention to color like this makes me absolutely ecstatic! How I would love to see more people dressed like this on a daily basis (if only so that I would stop feeling so brightly colored like a parot in a sea of crows!)
