Listening to the music of Oakland, CA-based band The Hot Toddies, I can almost feel myself sitting on the sun-soaked, sandy shores of decades past, sipping a pineapple-y beverage and watching people frolic in the ocean. Have a listen, and you’ll understand why; the band even describes their music as a “mix [of] sunny beach pop, indie rock riffs, a bottle of whiskey, and a dry sense of humor.” And, did I mention the group is all girls? Yep, The Hot Toddies couldn’t get any more awesome.

It’s deceivingly still cold her in the NorEast. You know the days where it’s close enough to spring that you think the sun shining outside might up the temp. outside but it really does? Anyway, love this music so while you’re drinking your pineapple-y beverage I guess I’ll just sit back and listen to the music while drinking a Hot Toddy. Cheers ;)
