Fave Finds: Meagan’s Tiny Turtle Brooch

Who: Meagan Lamont

What: Small turtle brooch (top right). “Two years ago my husband’s grandmother passed away from cancer. I inherited pieces of her jewelry collection, and among them was a black and gold turtle brooch, backed with diamonds. Recently, I was at a local consignment shop and stumbled across an almost exact match of the brooch! It is smaller in size but complements the [original] piece perfectly. Every time I wear them, I am reminded of what an amazing woman my husband’s grandma was, and how much she positively influenced those around her.”

Where: The Salvation Army

How Much: $4

When I Use It: “All the time! I wear it pinned on coats, attached to scarves, and also cardigans (my favorite thing to wear) to spice them up!”

Shopping Tips: “Keep an open mind as to what you may be coming home with! I walked in looking for a costume for my wine club party and walked out with an amazing piece to add to my vintage jewelry collection.”
