I’m with Jeanette! This outfit would be super comfy as I run in and out of the retail warehouse.

I’m having my first giveaway. Come check it out!

Looking good on a Monday, ladies! Even with this dreary weather outside, ModStylists still know how to rock it :)

    Great tips.

But I work in a school and I always struggle to know what to wear. I end up looking boring in blouses and trousers because we can’t look casual or sexy, yet we’re not super smart :/

What about for us hairstylists? I can not tell you how hard it is to find pieces that are classy trendy, fit my fashion sensibilities, are in black, white or grey and at a price point that I wont be upset if they are stained with color or bleach. Its a tough work wardrobe to fill.

this is my small list of things from modcloth that fit the bill. http://www.modcloth.com/storefront/wishlists/616860

I went from working in a law office to working in a publishing house with a VERY casual dress code. I’m still trying to find balance between uber professional and comfortable, yet classy attire. This guide is very helpful – props to covering all aspects of the biz, whichever you’re in. :)

I really like your guide. If I could make a suggestion though? Please stock more Emily and Fin clothes. They’re just perfect for work. I’m kicking myself still for missing out on the Good Migrations dress.

I work at a retail store specializing in jeans and while we are recommended to use store jeans (not a problem! I love high quality denim!), I am always on the lookout for jeans-mentality type of casual and cool print tees and tops. Currently I’m seeing oversized and cropped shirts everywhere, but it doesn’t work with my bodytype at all!

I’m sad I also can’t rock a denim jacket, because if I did, I could wear dresses to work. Otherwise it’s just not setting appropriate. :(

    Keep on rockin’ work wear!
