Susan’s Selects: What I’m Loving this Summer

Summer may have only just officially begun, but all of us at ModCloth have long been looking forward to the amazing items coming to the site this season. As the weather warms up, it brings with it trends we can’t wait to try! Here are just a few of my favorites:

Parisian

Proclaim your love for the City of Lights! A charming spin on nautical and with just the right amount of kitsch, Parisian prints feel classic and fresh these warm months.

Photorealism

Though they’ve been building in popularity for a while now, with British designers leading the statement-making charge, photorealist prints are striking and perfect this summer!

pastel

Dress up in cotton candy pastels to feel ladylike and demure — maybe even dye your locks to feel less so! This revival of pastels feels more tongue-in-cheek at second glance.

What trends will you be sporting this summer?

I love those pastels shown! I wish I had enough courage, though, to dye my hair that lovely shade of blue!

I love the pastels so much! I’ve been noticing that mint seems to be a huge color for the summer! Which is fantastic because I love that color!

Love the blue dress shown in the Pieces de Paris… but where is it? I don’t see it when I click on the email link to that collection.
