It’s something I never understood, glamping. After all, isn’t the notion of posh contrary to the very fabric of the Great Outdoors? Camping is about roughing it! It’s about dirt! It’s about sleeping in tarp-bottomed domes and triangles that say, “Functionality rules!” It’s about…hold up…did you see that tent above? It’s knock-your-SmartWool-socks-off amazing, and it’s throwing my notions about camping gear for a loop.
That tent is made by Field Candy, a company that merges camping and awesome artistry by creating camping-purist tents made beautiful by a troop of international designers. They come with a price tag that’s nothing to sneeze at, but even if you’re not a camping enthusiast, the Aphroditean good looks of these abodes will have you adding them to your list of ‘I want you, I need you!’ items pronto.

Want more? Hike over to Field Candy for more stare-worthy tents.

What!? These exist? In the words of Liz Lemon “I want to go there” (in one of those)!
I’m not fond of “Glamping” to any extent (or…ex-tent? heh…), but these tents are adorable! Cute, but still of course roughing it, and you’ll know which tent is yours on a camp site!
Very cute, but I have to say while not pretty my Coleman tent with the mini purple lantern chandelier and covered in posh blankets is still a crowd pleaser. :)
