Show & Tell: Pirate Shop & Student Writing Center 826 Valencia

If the pirate store marking the entrance to writing nonprofit 826 Valencia isn’t enough to pull you in for a peek, its collection of impressive student-produced publications and calendar of workshops surely will. Thanks to founders Dave Eggers and star educator Ninive Calegari, the now-nationwide organization is celebrating their 10th anniversary — and boy, they have a lot to be proud of!
