As we stepped into the Rachel Antonoff Spring 2012 presentation, we found ourselves wandering through a garden maze filled with preppy girls sporting seersucker stripes and intricate prints. The collection was inspired by the famous 1977 scientific film, Powers of Ten, which depicts the relative scale of the universe through two picknickers sitting in a park. The theme was featured throughout the presentation, in the stunning silk photo prints featuring aerial views, the intricately embellished nail art, and in the actual maze setting.
