After scouring the styles at New York Fashion Week, we here at Nail Klub couldn’t wait to indulge in a little high-fashion fun. Since the chilly days of autumn aren’t the best time to wear the breezy fabrics debuted in the Spring 2013 collections, we took one our favorite looks and transformed it into a manicure that’s chic in every season.
Nail Klub has been eager to experiment with DIY nail decals, and recreating this bold, playful pattern from the Marc by Marc Jacobs Spring 2013 show was an awesome excuse to do so.
Instead of painting the nail, we applied polish to clear tape — once it dried, we simply cut out shapes and stuck them on our nails. This technique made it easy to embellish even the smallest nails and, best of all, required zero stressing about a steady hand — something the coffee-lovers in Nail Klub were thrilled to learn!
