Who: Cassidy from Things Like Skeleton Keys
What: Black dress with Peter Pan collar and faux pearl buttons
Where: Thrift store

When I use it: ”I have worn this dress to a concert and to a birthday party, and plan to wear it for other casual-yet-special occasions, because that is what it is perfect for!”
Shopping tips: “Don’t pass over an amazing find because it has a small stain or is a bit wrinkled. This one had a few imperfections but nothing a trip to the cleaners didn’t fix! You can always tweak the garment to make it just right, especially if it is so cheap to begin with!”

What a cute dress !! I wish there were some better thrift stores around where I live. There seem to be a lot of amazing thrift stores in bigger cities, but the one in my small town isn’t the best.
Agreed! Totally cute dress. But I have the same problem as well. No good vintage stores in or around the cluster of small towns in which I live! The few that claim to be vintage are really just junky antique stores, no good clothes.
There are a few bigger thrift stores across town I usually go to, but this dress was found at a very small and junky one I had been in once before and hadn’t been impressed by it. But it was just couple of blocks from my house and I felt inspired to go in one day again. You just never know what you might find in the smallest of places. I am so happy I gave it a chance!
Cute dress! I like the contemporary look. Simple yet unique and appealing :)
It’s hard to tell but from the angle of the record is held I can see the cover slightly. Is that Queen’s Jazz album?
