Pretty in Plaid for Late Autumn

When I first spied this ensemble worn by Laura of The Joyful Fox, I was instantly enamored with her cozy layers of candy apple red and peppy plaid. The perfect mix of bold color and classic pattern, this outfit is ideal for a late-fall day spent kicking through fallen foliage or picking apples at an orchard. Emulating Laura’s look is as easy as apple pie: simply seek out a classic A-line dress in cranberry plaid and top it off with a bold red layer- like a moto-inspired jacket- and anchor it together with opaque black tights and a statement belt, and you’ll be ready to sip mulled cider in no time flat!

Modcloth needs more modest plaid dresses. I have been on a wild hunt for modest plaid dresses, and they are so scarce.
