A fire flickers, toasting your wool sock-covered toes as you sink deeper into the weathered leather couch of your favorite lodge. You’ve spent a full day on the slopes – bobbing, weaving, and tossing loose snow balls at friends who fall too far behind. Now it’s time to cuddle up in the comfiest sweater you can find, and revel in the memory of your great day. In honor of hot toddies and the most nostalgic season of the year, view these vintage ski photos and dream up your next to-the-mountains trip.

Love these so much! They remind me of my grandparents. My Grandpa was a ski instructor and ski patrol guy during the 60s, 70s, and 80s. I love looking at the pictures of them from that time and these are a lot like them. I can’t wait for my trip to the slopes this winter.
