Gifts for Your Gadgets: The Complete Collection of Our Holiday 2012 Wallpapers

Our graphic designers
Holiday sweaters have never looked better. Meet our graphic designers: Ryan, Danielly, Aya, Sam, and Erynn.

Earlier this week, we released our first-ever sets of downloadable digital wallpapers, and are pleased to present them in one big collection. Our crackerjack graphic designers crafted each set with lots of love, and hope that they make you and your gadgets glow with happiness this holiday season.

Thank you all for making holidays at ModCloth the merriest time of the year — we wouldn’t be the company we are without you, and can’t wait to spend the rest of the holidays together on our blog, social networks, and more!

“I took visual motifs inspired by vintage holiday cards and used them as elements in a larger, kaleidoscopic arrangement,” says Ryan. “I wanted something that would look like a delicate, intricate pattern from far away, but still fun and festive when viewed up close.”

“For me, this project felt like an opportunity to gift something special to our favorite people — our customers! — who always give us such great feedback and support,” says Aya. “The spirit of ‘From our family, to yours,’ stuck to my mind, along with the imagery of vintage department stores — which was the core inspiration for our holiday creative, like our holiday stylebook and gift guide — led to this merry and happy design.”

“My design pulled from a lot of mid-century shapes and kitschy holiday ornaments,” says Erynn. “It was fun to come up with simple-yet-cute embellishments for each ornament and find the balance at which they all work together as an illustration!”

“With my design, I wanted to evoke childhood memories of a holiday candyland with this simple-but-quirky pattern of gumdrops, candy canes, and gingerbread men,” says Sam.

As always, we’d love to know what you think! Should we do this again? What other downloads would you like to see? Does that adorable little pink reindeer also make you dizzy with joy?
