The only furniture to survive the six apartments I’ve passed through in my adult life is my bookshelves — my cherished bookshelves, which are filled with my most prized possessions. No, not my Mariah Carey albums — my books, of course! Sure, the prose and poetry on the ledges tell you a lot about their owners, but I think the bookcases themselves can provide their own insight. If I’m right, then these statement-making structures are certainly saying a mouthful.

That ladder shelf is crazy! I love the black one that looks like branches blowing in the wind.
I love that first bookshelf! Right now I’m making do with a makeshift bookshelf (a piece of wood, double-stacked books, and bookends) but I can’t wait to invest in the real deal :)

haha, the United States bookshelf looks like it would ruin the books (especially the books in “Texas”).
I really like the last one- the curved bookshelf, it looks so surreal and whimsical, like furniture from Alice in Wonderland. :)
