There’s no question about it, we’re huge fans of Tracy Reese – and for good reason. Her bold use of color and eclectic mix ‘n’ match styling has attracted quite the list of clientele, from ModCloth staffers to the First Lady herself. So we were buzzing with anticipation when she unveiled her Fall 2013 collection this weekend. Reese filled the runway with fun print mixing and punk rock separates, tempered with a dose of ladylike florals and sequined cocktail dresses. And let’s not forget the arrival of Lily the cat, a rescued Siamese from a local shelter making her catwalk debut!

Love Tracy Reese. And love cats on the catwalk. Genuis.
I love it! I love that Lily is a rescue cat, first of all, and that she’s also a gorgeous blue point siamese! I know there’s a lot of stink from people on using a cat as an accessory, but, come on, it’s the runway! Further, most siamese cats are very social and love attention, so I’m sure Lily was soaking it up! I only wish the model had held her correctly in these photos, but I’m sure Lily didn’t mind.
Tracy Reese rocks my socks, and rescue kitties are a total bonus!
