We asked music and style lovers everywhere to enter our latest playlist contest on Rdio, Love Songs for Style Lovers. With just under 300 song and style pairings, we ended up with a total of 337 songs in our playlist — that’s 21 hours and 30 minutes of love song goodness!

Three entries were picked at random to each win a $50 ModCloth gift certificate, and these were their style soundtracks:
MarissaPerez paired Lykke Li’s “Dance, Dance, Dance” with the Cat’s More Like It Dress. In her entry, she wrote, “I added Lykke Li’s ‘Dance, Dance, Dance’! The obvious choice for dress pairing is ‘Cats More Like It’ — whimsical and a little romantic (and, of course, cats are as coy and playful as Lykke Li’s lyrics), with a perfect skirt to dance in.”
ashleyboling4 commented in her entry, “I added ‘These Days’ by Nico, because I’ve always loved The Royal Tenenbaums and Margot and Richie’s love for each other, and them getting through their struggles. I think this song would be great for a picnic on a pretty afternoon, alongside with the First Kiss Dress.”
The third winner, jenhyikes, added “Slow Show” by The National. She commented, “No matter what happens throughout the day, I have my best friend by my side, always putting a smile on my face. This song makes me think of the two of us slow dancing (likely off-tempo and with terrible synchronization) in his kitchen, and I can see myself wearing the Dramatic Monologue Dress. Simple, sweet, yet beautiful, just like the song.”
