Our Pittsburgh office recently welcomed Carnegie Science Center’sTour Your Future program, which gives tech-minded teens a behind-the-scenes look at careers related to math, science, and computers. Through Carnegie’s Girls, Math & Science Partnership, girls aged 11 to 17 visited our Pittsburgh office to get a rundown on how tech plus fashion can equal an awesome career.

After a tour of our facilities and an introductory video from Susan, which told the story of ModCloth, the group heard from speakers from our User Experience, Product Management, and Inventory teams. ModDog George even made a guest appearance!

About Julie O.

A lover of all things vintage and vintage-inspired, Julie bought her first 1950s frock in the fifth grade. Since then, Julie has become a self-described connoisseur of vintage and thrift shopping, which she shares on her blog, Orchid Grey. When she’s not scouring the racks for the perfect vintage skirt, this native New Englander can be found deftly navigating the slopes of a ski mountain, taking road-trips to the beach, and exploring new places with a vintage camera in her hand.
