What is it about a station wagon that just screams adventure?

Flaunting sleek, long lines and utilitarian charm, this classic estate car has earned its place in the background of countless travel photos. As a rather proud wagon owner, I can attest to the rustic promise of wood panelling and the can-do spirit that comes with a set of keys. Yes, I’ve got room for that thrifted coffee table! Carpool to the cabin? I’ll drive.

Whether this weekend you plan to hike, shop, surf, or sightsee, now’s the time to roll down the windows, turn up the tunes, and get in the spirit for scenic fun with these roomy vintage rides!

About Chris

Every day, Chris gets one to three scoops closer to his dream of an ice cream-only diet. If he’s not indulging his sweet tooth, Chris is using his child-like energy levels to play rubber snake pranks, converse with countless puns, and capture the world in photos as he walks. If you aspire to have a perfect Pittsburgh accent or have a passion for periodicals, he would love to talk over afternoon coffee.

My husband-to-be recently sold his 1971 Jeep wagoneer. It’s name was Clifford. We loved him. But…..he didn’t seem to love us back. Old broken down loveable thing…
