Customer Question: “My cousin’s wedding is coming up, and I plan to dance the night away. I’m looking for the perfect summer wedding guest outfit to work with my pregnant belly and keep me stylishly comfortable.”

ModStylist Chelsey suggests: “For a summer wedding, pick a flowy floral that you feel comfortable in! The high-low hemline of the Reflect on Your Actions Dress is the perfect example, boasting a bold floral print in wedding-ready pastel tones.

“When it comes to shoes, comfort is key, but you don’t have to sacrifice style do it! For a night of dancing, pick a pair with a pop of color, but opt for a low heel, or no heel at all to keep your feet happy.”

Customer question: “My schedule keeps me on my toes. What tips would you have for a go-to outfit and accessories that can work with my baby bump now, and for after the baby comes?”

ModStylist Amy suggests: “A fabulous bag is the perfect accessory for any woman on-the-go, so why should you be any different? A colorful tote or satchel will carry all of your daily necessities, and then once baby comes you can store all of his or her must-haves, too.

“Don’t be afraid to have fun with color — even something so simple as adding a statement necklace to a T-shirt and jeans will make your outfit pop.”

so cute! especially look number 1. Personally, after having number 4 exactly one month ago, I can say that wrap and button top dresses are nice because they are convenient for nursing baby, adjust to a growing post-maternity chest size, and disguise the jelly belly as needed. Plus, they make your recovering body look fabulous, and provide an instant pick-me-up for those long tiring days. Two dresses (one wrap one button down) that I purchased from ModCloth are working out great, and I love that they can easily transfer to my post-maternity wardrobe!

love, love, love this! I am currently expecting #2- and I definitely feel way more stylish this time around than i was the first time. i was actually able to wear most of my MC dresses through the first and second trimesters, and now i am relying on maxis to get me to the finish line- they’re wonderful as well b\c they’re stretchy- i plan on wearing it long after baby arrives!!
