Summer is my favorite time of year for just about everything – everything except for cooking. When the temperature rises above 85°F, the last thing I want to do is turn on my oven. But, with all those summer parties and barbeques, I often want to whip up something tasty – something other than a salad – to bring along. My solution to this summer stumper? Raw food treats!

While raw foods often require a bit of elbow grease, raw snacks and desserts are the perfect thing to bring along to a summer soiree. Not only are they delicious, but they can easily be customized for those with restricted diets, such as vegan and gluten-free.

Whether you have dietary restrictions or are just looking for a way to avoid your oven, these raw delicacies are sure to excite on even the most sweltering of summer days!
