Office Style: The Employees of Etsy

Between interviewing bloggers for our street style video series during New York Fashion Week, we had the change to stop by the Etsy headquarters in Brooklyn to tour their office and snap a few fashionable photos of some of the staffers. It’s a totally enviable job in an equally awesome location, so it made perfect sense to take a quick break in the hot New York summer to get a better look at their quirky and colorful sense of style.

Fun post. But I’m disappointed that you didn’t show off their engineering team. I’d love this style of post so much more if you took advantage of the opportunity to show off some of the fashionable women programmers out there. It would be an awesome way to push against some of the cultural stereotypes.

Hi Sarah, Thank you so much for your feedback. We actually sent out an open call to their office, so everyone was invited to come get their photos taken and these were the ladies that volunteered to show off their outfits! We absolutely did not intentionally leave people out.

I’ll make sure tell my sister to answer the call if the feature continues and you make it to her company :)
