Bead It Dress-6
With the holidays upon us, we often find ourselves standing before our closets, deep in thought about which dress to don for each new occasion. Shall it be a flapper-inspired shift? A fabulous fit-and-flare? Or A chic sheath? While choosing the right dress can be difficult, figuring out what to wear beneath that holiday dress can be equally enigmatic.

If you’ve been stumped on which pretty undergarments to pair with all the different dress silhouettes in your closet, we’ve got you covered. First, we showed you what to wear beneath a wiggle dress, and for the second installment of our series we showed you the perfect undergarments to wear with a classic fit-and-flare. For the final chapter of our silhouette styling series, we’re sharing our recommendation for what to wear beneath a flapper-inspired shift dress.

Shift dresses are not only chic, but comfortable and easy to wear as well. For this Gatsby-inspired number, we chose a bra with a plunging neckline to match the deep V front of the dress. A pair of high-waisted briefs offer light control and a smooth line, and layer easily beneath tights if the weather outside is frightful but you still want to look delightful.
