Spring Layering Made Easy: Weekend Ready

Sure, we may be in the middle of a seemingly never-ending vortex of freezing temperatures and piles of snow, but that doesn’t mean we can’t dream of buds on the trees, green grass, and easy-breezy spring style! Today, we’re kicking off our spring layering series with a weekend-ready outfit, perfect for brunch with your friends or a stroll around the park.

There’s no doubt that casual sweatshirts were made for weekend style, but that doesn’t mean they can’t be dressed up! For a versatile look that’s easily transitioned if the temperature changes, ModEmployee Deja allows the collar of her top to peek out from a fun, kitty-printed sweatshirt worn atop a denim jumper. A pair of navy socks take the place of heavy tights, because there’s nothing better than shedding the heavy layers of winter as soon as the weather warms up!

In this outfit:
Queen of the Wildcats Sweatshirt
Good-natured Gabfest Skirt
Just Joyful Top
Tea for You Heel
Undisputed Class Watch
See What I Gleam? Socks in Navy
