How to Create an Eye-Catching Wedding Centerpiece

Make Your Own Wedding CenterpieceWhether you’re planning your own nuptials, or helping a friend or family member plan their big day, weddings provide the perfect opportunity to flex those creative muscles. If you’re looking for a few easy how-tos to help you get to ‘I do,’ this week we’ll be sharing some of our top DIY wedding ideas. On Monday, we told you how to make a bridal bouquet, and today we’re showing you how to create two stunning centerpieces.

Terrarium Centerpiece

Materials:
Plant and Simple Terrarium
Moss (available at craft supply stores and greenhouses)
Tea light candles
Succulents
Optional: Log disks (available at some lumber yards or your own backyard), It’s Eclectic! Candlesticks, wooden clothespins, place cards

Step 1:
Make Your Own Wedding Centerpiece
Assemble your terrarium using a selection of moss and succulents.

Step 2:
Make Your Own Wedding Centerpiece
Once you’ve decided on table placement, arrange a some moss in the center of the table. Top with your chosen combination of wooden disks, succulents, terrariums, and candlesticks. Mark the place card with the table number, and clip with a clothespin.

Materials:
Driftwood You Join Me Votive Set
Moss
Flowers of your choice
Scissors
Candles

Step 1:
Make Your Own Wedding Centerpiece
Once you’ve decided on placement, arrange the moss in the center of the table. Top with the Driftwood You Join Me Votive Set and add the candles to the holder.

Step 2:
Make Your Own Wedding Centerpiece
Arrange a selection of clipped flower buds around the candle holder.

    LOVE this! I do a photo show every spring with a similar vibe. I buy my moss on amazon and save-on-crafts. I love that Modcloth offers decor inspiration! The cool thing about moss is that you can actually buy it in sheets, for the clean freaks out there:) XO Jess
