Nail Klub: Dallas’ Nail Tutorial Proves It’s Hip to Be Square

Last week’s Mani Monday event was beyond awesome. Our office got amazing manicures, we gave back to our community, AND we got to watch the trio behind Nails by Dallas in action. Talented artists Dallas, Alexa, and Kate wielded skinny brushes with jaw-dropping precision, turning each nail into a tiny canvas for an even teensier masterpiece. But Dallas, the namesake behind this local manicure biz (which, by the way, has a very inspirational Instagram account, @hookedondal), knows that creating intricate designs, particularly on yourself, can be intimidating to DIY beginners (a.k.a. your pals at Nail Klub). So, she graciously whipped up a tutorial that nail art newbies, as well as seasoned manicurists, can enjoy. By using nail stripe tape (you can find it super-cheap online), you can create a simple, geometric stencil. Add a few eye-catching colors, and a steady (or steady-ish) hand, and you end up with a Mondrian-esque manicure that’s quite literally, a work of art.
