Julie bought her first 1950’s frock in the fifth grade. Since then, Julie has become a self-described connoisseur of vintage and thrift shopping, which she shares on her blog, Orchid Grey. Hannah

“Q: Where do cantaloupes go for the summer? A: John Cougar Mellon Camp!” From that joke you can surmise a few things about Hannah — she loves a good pun, she delights in irreverence, and red peppers are her vegetable of choice. How does one figure out Hannah loves red peppers from that joke? Hmm, that’s top secret.

Sarah
CONTRIBUTING WRITER

Who would have thought the little girl in the oversized Goofy T-shirt would grow up to become a fashion writer? Definitely not young Sarah; she was too busy daydreaming about becoming a ninja. Sarah has a mean curveball and once tried out for the Olympics. She loves pretty purses, going to baseball games, and will go to extraordinary lengths for chocolate.

Cindy
CONTRIBUTING WRITER

Pun intended. Cindy loves dreaming up witty quips and groan-worthy wordplay. In fact, you could say this girl just wants to have puns. As an avid fan of the written word and a librarian at heart, she also loves used bookstores, especially ones that harbor cats. When she’s not reading or writing, she likes exploring historical roadside America, taste-testing classic cocktails, embarking on thrift shopping excursions, and drooling over vintage handbags.

Nora tripped on stage while receiving her college diploma and then promptly moved 3,000 miles away, but somehow her parents still love her. She is music-obsessed and can be expected to pump up the jams and dance like a crazy person every chance she gets.
