Fashion is full of stories, and this is where we tell ours. Story by ModCloth is a smartly crafted blog filled with the best and brightest of fashion and culture, and your place for all things ModCloth. We believe in community-driven content, the art of storytelling, and are always on the hunt for our next feature.
MEET THE TEAM
Co-founder and Chief Creative Officer
Susan’s all-time favorite things include pugs, eating outdoors, and absurd mushroom-themed housewares. Her current obsessions include nail polish, wedges, and anything high-waisted. Her ultimate style icon is her grandma, and she’s one of the founders of ModCloth.
Rebecca is an L.A.-born (and raised!) New Yorker that now calls the Bay Area home. She lives on the Internet, still hearts ‘90s gangster rap, and does some of her best vintage shopping in her mom’s closet. Also: These are not her glasses.
As a child, Julie terrorized her mother by dreaming up a line of shrink-wrap clothing, styling outfits inspired by Hair, The Musical, and stealing Vogues from the laundromat. While shrink-wrap is no longer a style staple, Julie never lost her love for fashion. When she’s not writing for ModCloth, Julie can be found blogging at Orchid Grey.
Digital Media & Content Specialist
Erin is our resident California girl with a love for everything vintage. She’s the creative force behind Calivintage and she joined the ModCloth team to share her passion for vintage-inspired style, cycling adventures, and silly hats!
Jon hails from a state that looks like a hand, which makes sense because he enjoys particularly firm handshakes. He was once a nationally ranked racquetball player, but after immense success on the court, decided to trade in his racquet for a camera.
