This outfit is a testament to staying chic even in the bitter cold.  I love the look of this vintage coat paired with a modern mini.  Personally, I would opt for knit tights over knee highs (her legs look quite cold) but, overall this is a stuning winter look perfect for New Years Eve!

Perfect for that holiday party, this outfit is like a perfectly wrapped present-complete with a bow on top ! I love the contrast of the bright teal skirt against the dark leopard print tights, while the yellowish gold bow and yellow necklace complete a great look!

A few months ago the ModCloth buyers had the wonderful opportunity to go Berlin for the Bread and Butter Tradeshow and we found a lot of great European and Asian brands to bring back to ModCloth while we where there. Shopping for men can be tough! If you’re anything like me,  you want to be creative in your gift choices (no more ties or aftershave, please).  Hopefully,  with the help of ModCloth’s Guys gift guide and some shopping suggestions I’ve listed, you can gift with ease for everyone from dad to date this holiday!

This week’s outfit consists of wonderful pieces from my wishlist.  These are just some of the many gems I would love to find under the Christmas tree this year (but let’s face it. If they don’t make it there, I’ll end up buying them for myself)! The outfit itself is a pretty versatile look and  just as perfect for a holiday party as it is for a day of  shopping!

I love the contrast of the  tan boyfriend blazer and dark knee socks against the feminine black party dress and the gold belt and bangles. They  match the gold  buttons of the blazer and add great finishing touches to the look!

I always find the best scarves at vintage and thirft stores, and I have accumulated a pretty substantial collection of them over the years, but I alway’s forget to wear them like this!  Adding a lightweight and soft silk or knit scarf to an outfit can really maximize your wardrobe options.  I love how the scarf above transforms a basic shirt dress it into a complete look!

This is a great “day to night” look perfect  for an art opening or after work cocktails.  By simply swapping out your work-appropriate bottoms for this feminine skirt you have an almost effortless fun and flirty nightime look! I am going to try to recreate this look with ModCloth’s Snowdrop Skirt.
