I had such a hard time picking a favorite new item this week: there are just too many! After much debate I finally settled on this dress. It’s wonderful texture, flattering shape, and cute collar are sure to make it my new go-to piece when I’m being indecisive… kind of like right now.

As much as I love bright colors and prints, this innovative ensemble of neutrals immediately caught my eye. The layers add interest but manage to avoid being overwhelming – and the stacked socks are just downright cool!

When we found these wonderful heels at a tradeshow a few months ago, I knew they had to be mine. I’m so excited that they finally came in this week! I can’t wait to pair them with dresses and lots of jewelry for a holiday party.

The launch of our Be the Buyer feature has made this week very special for me. I have been so lucky to find a job where I get to do what I love – buy fashion! – and I’m incredibly excited to share that experience with all of you. So, this week, instead of picking a favorite new item, I’ve chosen my favorite sample which I really hope will become a new item soon. The final choice is up to you though, so don’t forget to vote!

We are officially in holiday preparation mode here at ModCloth headquarters, and I can’t help but start thinking about what I’ll wear. This cute top will be perfect for a pre-Christmas dinner with friends, or maybe even a night out partying at New Year’s!

It’s no secret that I love statement outerwear and this gorgeous Gentle Fawn coat has quickly become my latest obsession. The double row of buttons marching down the front, that wonderful fold-over collar… I’m almost wishing for the cold to hurry up and get here!

I feel like I wouldn’t be a very loyal dog owner if I didn’t pick this item as my favorite of the week. I can’t help it – I just love his grumpy little face!
