It’s no secret that the passionate and dedicated people here at ModCloth are huge fans of the merchandise. It is as exciting for us to open a new package of garments and apartment ware as it is for you! Today, two ModCloth employees share their current favorite picks. Drumroll, please!

ModCloth fashion writer Annie chooses…

…The Mimosa Dress in Paris! Annie says, “How can I choose a favorite ModCloth item? I feel like my opinion changes every day. As of late, my current employee pick is The Mimosa Dress in Paris. I love the magnified square graph print, the adorable bow at the neckline’s center, and the visible zipper up the back. I can picture myself wearing this dress in the summer, and then again with tights and a cardi during the holidays. The versatility of this cute frock is a definite plus!”

Maggie, ModCloth’s Campaign Manager, chooses…

…the Just Fur Fun Vest! She says, “I love how cozy and glamorous this vest is, and the pockets are big enough to hold my Nacho Wallet. The faux fur is unbelievably soft. I like pairing it with leggings and a tunic, or a long-sleeved dress.”

Which employee pick is your favorite? What ModCloth items would you style it with?

Susan: “The Rococo Magnetized Frames are my go-to stocking stuffer this year–everybody on my list is getting one! I love that they’re magnetized, so they’re super-easy to use, and the four color options will match any decor. Of course, I think they’ll look especially cute with a picture of Winston in them, but I’ll let the recipients decide which photo to feature.”

Alicia: “While I had no say in the selection of the above photo of myself,  I did have a say in selecting this Singing Shrub Backpack Tote as my favorite gift this year. I’m usually not one for patterned bags or totes, but this one is just so pretty, and it’s made of a really neat waterproof canvas material.  It’s a nice alternative for the gal who wants to carry her laptop in something a bit more feminine and colorful than the standard black case.”

Eric (for Susan): “I chose the Into the Woods Duffle. It’s a unique gift and I know Susan loves accessories that stand out. It’s something she can wear anytime, and I don’t have to worry about the fit.”

Ben: “Bathing Beauty Retro Swimsuit–It might seem sort of weird to get someone a bathing suit at Christmas, when the pools are all drained and full of snow. BUT, that’s the great thing about buying this suit now. That first day of summer will eventually come. And when she finally gets to dip her toes in the water, looking like a pin-up, the envious looks she gets will feel all the sweeter after the long wait.”

Amanda: “Maybe it’s just because I have a lot of Francophile and child-at-heart friends, but I can think of several people on my gift list (myself included) who would love the adorable Le Petit Prince Tote. And its just the right size to fill with fabulous stocking stuffers, like cute accessories, makeup, and French chocolate.”

Joe: “I chose the W-right On Mug, because it’s the perfect gift for people like me. I’m constantly trying to stay organized while doing four things at once. The one thing I always seem to have handy is my trusty coffee cup, so leaving notes on it makes perfect sense!”

Marne: “I chose the Baggu Eco-Friendly Shopping Bag. I have a good mind to buy one of these for everyone on my list to promote them bringing their own bag to the grocery store. I can’t stand wasteful plastic bags and these are flat and compact enough to fit in your purse, glove compartment, or back pocket (I have two in my purse at all times!)”

Emily: “I’ve already purchased one of these for myself and I love it! With four styles to choose from, I’ll be able to pick one to suit everyone on my list.
