ModWriters are often asked how we come up with the wonderful, occasionally wacky, names for the bevy of beautiful garments which we bestow titles upon daily. While the answer varies, one thing we are incessantly inspired by is music! So, without further ado, I present to you a little insight into how a few of the items above got their musical monikers…

Everyone at ModCloth HQ loves music, and we even have a few lovely lady DJs in our midst. In my opinion, music and fashion are intrinsically connected to one another, as interwoven as the latticework patches of the Dress Formerly Known as Prints.
