When we found these wonderful heels at a tradeshow a few months ago, I knew they had to be mine. I’m so excited that they finally came in this week! I can’t wait to pair them with dresses and lots of jewelry for a holiday party.

The launch of our Be the Buyer feature has made this week very special for me. I have been so lucky to find a job where I get to do what I love – buy fashion! – and I’m incredibly excited to share that experience with all of you. We are officially in holiday preparation mode here at ModCloth headquarters, and I can’t help but start thinking about what I’ll wear. This cute top will be perfect for a pre-Christmas dinner with friends, or maybe even a night out partying at New Year’s!

It’s no secret that I love statement outerwear and this gorgeous Gentle Fawn coat has quickly become my latest obsession. The double row of buttons marching down the front, that wonderful fold-over collar… I’m almost wishing for the cold to hurry up and get here!

I feel like I wouldn’t be a very loyal dog owner if I didn’t pick this item as my favorite of the week. I can’t help it – I just love his grumpy little face!

Nothing brightens up a cold and grey winter day like a bright coat, and this BB Dakota one is my new favorite! I love the unexpected and retro color,  and I can’t wait to pair it with a contrasting hat and gloves.

Dewey Decimal Dress

I’m always on the lookout for pieces that can be worn in a traditional setting but still maintain a vintage appeal, and this dress is simply perfect! Plus, the color combination feels so fresh right now, especially when paired with a contrasting cardigan.

Another week, another long list of new favorites. How to choose? This time was seriously tough, but this lightweight coat (perfect for those cool fall nights we’re starting to have) claims the official spot at the top of my list. At least for today.

Jeffrey Campbell is one of my absolute favorite designers and this time he has truly outdone himself. I can picture a million (really!) fall outfits featuring these beautiful booties, and best of all, they’re totally comfortable for real, everyday wear.

Adopt a Pet Lamp in Wiener Dog

In addition to the usual great fashion, we’ve added some really cute housewares to the site lately. I am totally in love with this adorable lamp, I can’t wait to bring him home! He’ll look really nice with my own wiener dog.
