It’s that time again — time to revel in the glory of layering up in fab fashions to stay warm and take on the season. And while scarves and sweaters are great, sometimes lovely layers of harmonious voices can do just as much to warm your soul. Sound appealing? Then stop what you’re doing right now and hunker down with your new fall fave: Big Tree.
Big Tree is a folk-y, indie, pop-y quintet based in Berkeley, California and a great choice for lively autumn-winter tunes. Featuring two talented female vocalists on the mic and lyrics that are anything but typical, Big Tree just what you need to fall into the season.
And… you know what’s better than marvelous music? Marvelous new music. All you newly-converted Big Tree fans are in for a treat, because their newest release, Big Tree, Little EP, is available for pre-order and will come out on November 6. So, make a steaming mug of your hot beverage of choice, grab a soft ‘n’ comfy blanket, turn on some Big Tree, and let the season take over.

Aw heck, Big Tree are one of my favourites! And they really do sound like autumn. (Or fall, to my North American friends.) Their Daytrotter sessions come highly recommended.
I loved listening to this! I’d never heard of Big Tree before, but now I know that I definitely enjoy their music.
