Attention, wedding belles! Whether you’re looking to wow all the way down the aisle, or master wedding-guest glam, this hairstyle is for you. Inspired by a look from our latest wedding photo shoot, we created this effortless style, which is punctuated by pretty, fresh-cut flowers. Easy to fall in love with, and surprisingly easy to do, it’s the perfect finishing touch for your wedding style.
Start with hair that has a little texture. We gave our model, Jess, some loose curls and sprayed them so they’d stay. Then, create three sections — two in the front, and a back one that starts just behind your ears (imagine where a headband would sit on your head, and create the part along that line).
Tease the back section of hair, focusing more towards the ends than the roots.
Once your hair is nice and voluminous, pull it back into a super simple bun. Tug at the ends a little to make it nice and fluffy.
Pin the stray ends back into the bun — the messier the better!
Take one of the front sections and twist it gently. Then, wrap it back and over the top of your bun. Pin it in place, and repeat the process on the second side.
Find an accessory that’s just your style — maybe it’s an antique comb, a bit of edgy flair, or a trio of fresh rosettes, like we did — and tuck it into the top of your bun.
This hairstyle is sweet and simple, so keep your makeup the same. Add a touch of pink blush to your cheeks, a few strokes of your favorite mascara, and a rosy pink gloss.
How could you not swoon for this style?
