The Stripes Ahoy Dress.
Check out your closet full o’ dresses and we’re betting more than a few of your favorite frocks contain a basque waist. This flattering waistline, with its distinct V- or U-shaped symmetry and magical torso elongating powers, is popular in both fitted and formal dresses alike.
“Basque” originally referred to formfitting jackets designed to look like corsets during the Victorian era. From there, the single syllable adjective has evolved to denote a dropped waistline flattering for all body types.

I really need more dresses like these in my closet for sure!! Being the little shorty I am, anything torso elongating is great in my eyes!
