A Braided Hairstyle for Bobs

Beautify Your Bob with This Braided Hairstyle

2015 is the year of the bob haircut, and for good reason. This effortless, face-framing look is super flattering and makes your everyday routine as simple as wake, shake, and go. But what do you do with this ‘do when you want to do it up for a party or special event? Like all cropped hairstyles, a bob can leave you coming up short (see what I did there?) with ideas for fancy hairstyles. Hey, less hair doesn’t equal less fun! We enlisted the help of Shari from Isle of You Salon to teach us a pretty, braided hairstyle that works on bobs and beyond. Take a peek!

I thought I was the only one! There are a few more bobs and wavy short cuts in my neighborhood, but long is still popular among my age group. I actually got mine in the winter, but it looks so much better that I’ve continued to trim it this way. Other than needing more frequent cutting (four to six months, as apposed to 6+, with even more if I trimmed my long pony myself :), it’s much lower maintenance.

Since my hair is thick and very wavy, but also just just chin-length when wet, I’m not sure if this will work, but I like the idea.
