Style Glossary: Kiltie Fringe

KILTIE AS CHARGED – The Hours in the Library Heel.

The kiltie fringe has been a prominent element of footwear since the mid-19th century, yet most people don’t even know it by name! The distinct, spear-shaped fringe, which typically adorns the toe boxes on boots, heels and flats, is commonly associated with traditional leather loafers. However, today you can find the terrifically retro detail within fierce towering platforms and office-ready pumps alike.

Very, very cute! I like fancy bobby pins and feathers for my hair and lots of hats! I also wear a lot of fingerless gloves/mitts and wristwarmers.
