Psst. Did you know ModCloth has a hearty supply of cute-as-can-be wired headbands? Yup, it’s true, and today we’re going to give you a little inspiration. Whether you’re a big fan or you’ve never worn one before, we’re sure you’ll be able to recreate these four easy ‘dos with a wired headband of your own!
The Vintage Wrap
This one’s pretty straightforward. Simply style your hair however you choose (any style or texture works!), and then wrap the wire headband underneath your hair and over the top of your head. Twist the ends once or twice, and let the ends dog ear for a little retro flair.
The Boho Wrap
We love this look for all those summer festivals. It’s essentially the inverse of the above style. Wrap the headband over the top of your head, and then secure it at the nape of your neck over your hair. Make sure the headband lies flat for that bohemian feel. You can use bobby pins to keep it in place.
Wrap your hair into a twisted bun, and secure it with bobby pins. Then take your wired headband, and wrap it under your head and secure at the top. Instead of letting the ends stick up, twist them together once and then tuck the ends underneath the band you’ve created.
The Side Braid
Secure your hair in a side ponytail. Next, wrap one end of the wired headband around the base until it’s about the same length as your ponytail. Divide your hair into two sections, and use the headband as your third section to create a standard braid. Wrap the other end of the headband around the base of your braid to secure it.
