While there are a few nights during the Halloween season where you go all out with your costume, other events call for something that’s a little more subtle than a straight-up ghostly getup. So, when you want to channel the Halloween spirit while still looking glam, we recommend a vampy lip, the thickest, most wicked eyeliner ever, and a shirt or accessory that’ll tie it all together.

dsc_0253For this look, we’re using some of our featured makeup brandsPlease note that our product names may differ from what the cosmetic companies call them and what appears on the packaging, but they are the same products! You’ll need the following:

MAKE’s Pigment of Your Imagination Lip & Cheek Rouge

This is a creamy, brown-leaning rouge that blends seamlessly into your skin to give you a very natural flush.

Talk about a lipstick with some major oomph! This deep pink berry lipstick glides easily onto your lips, creating a super-pigmented, drenched-in-moisture finish that will definitely have people asking what you’re wearing.

If you’re looking for the pointiest, blackest winged eyeliner on a block, this is the eyeliner to reach for.

This creamy and shimmery eyeshadow stick is subtle, which makes it so lovely. Bonus: it doubles as a highlighter.

dsc_0308MAKE Lash-Minute Decision Mascara

Lashes look long and voluminous with a couple coats of this mascara. It also does a really nice job of keeping your lashes separated to prevent and clumping or caking.dsc_0310The Look: First, apply your preferred foundation and concealer. Next, apply the MAKE rouge to the upper apples of your cheeks, followed by a touch of the cream eyeshadow on top — blending in well — to highlight. Apply the eyeshadow to your lids as well, then blend it in with clean fingertips.

Now comes the dramatics! With a careful hand, draw a winged eyeliner that extends about a half inch out from the corners of your eyes. We’re created more of a horizontal wing versus one that flicks upward. Fill in the wing and then apply two to three coats of mascara.

Finally, apply your vampy lipstick, and you’re good to go!
