Last Monday, the lovely ladies of the nail studio Nails by Dallas stopped by to beautify the hands of our Pittsburgh office. In coordination with our Charitable Giving Committee, Nails by Dallas decided to donate any tip money to Dress for Success’ Pittsburgh branch, and employees enjoyed a petite pampering break in their days.
Using tiny paint brushes, Dallas, Alexa, and Kate created intricate designs customized to each employee – from pineapples matched to a dress print to a free-handed camera for our photographer. The manicures our ModPeeps walked away with were both pretty and philanthropic.
Though her designs reflect the work of someone who’s been in the game for almost a decade, Dallas is only 23! She started as a receptionist in a nail salon in high school and then moved onto doing nails herself, founding her own studio two years ago and responding to her packed schedule by bringing in two other nail techs.
These lovely ladies currently work out of Dallas’ Pittsburgh home, but are hoping to get a studio space soon. You can follow them on Instagram (@hookedondal, @hypegirll, and @lexondeck) and check out their Facebook page here!
In addition to polishing up our ModPeeps, Dallas showed us the steps to get this awesome multicolored mani. Stay tuned next week for a post on how you can do your very own Mondrian-inspired manicure!
