The winter season is a reason to do all sorts of fun things. To help give your holidays a twist, preferably of the peppermint variety, here are a few rambunctious recommendations to make your winter more wild.

  • Hot cocoa is so delicious as is, we didn’t think it could get any better. But then we found this recipe for delicious, delectable, sumptuous, scrumptious – drum roll please – Spiced Pumpkin Hot Cocoa! Doesn’t it sound amazing?
  • Feeling uninspired by the traditional snowman? Then try your mitten at some more unconventional snow and ice sculpting. If you do figure out how to build a sculpture as awesome as these, I want to see a picture!
  • If you live in a warm climate and are feeling left out from all the fun snow festivities, then start thinking outside the box (or inside the box, depending on how you plan on arranging this activity). Give stair sledding a go! Ditch your ski hats, don your sombreros, grab a box or sled, and slide into some fun.
  • They say the pen is mightier than the sword. If these words prove veritable, we’ve just found the world’s most fearsome action figures. From Charles Dickens to Jane Austen to Edgar Allen Poe, these unconventional figures are a great gift for all the literary lovers in your life.

I’m actually giving my friend the Jane Austen action figure for Christmas and another one of my friends a Moses action figure for Hanukkah .

    What a crazy random happenstance!
