Style Icon: Lily Cole

As the legend goes, Lily Cole was discovered at the age of 14 while eating a hamburger in the heartbeat of West London. Since her first feature in Italian Vogue in 2003, she has become famous worldwide for her ethereal beauty –  but she caught my eye in the September 2006 issue of Fashion Rocks, posing with Marilyn Manson:

Lily’s uncommon looks and risk-taking style has made her a star. Despite her doll-like beauty, she’s incredibly versatile and has appeared in publications ranging from Vogue to French Playboy and has walked the runways of designers like Chanel, Jean Paul GaultierAlexander McQueen, Louis Vuitton and many more. In her everyday life, Lily’s fiery red hair matches her fierce personality and style; she looks as effortlessly chic in a pair of slouchy trousers and Chucks as she does in a Dior ball gown!

Lily loves to mix patterns and textures, and her knack for accessories creates a look that I envy: gothic boho … with a just a touch of sparkle!

But Lily isn’t just another supermodel with great clothing and style – she’s got brains, too! Lily is currently slated to begin her education at King’s College at Cambridge University sometime this year. She’s also an Ambassador with the Global Angels Children’s Charity.

A beauty with style, brains and a big heart – what more could I ask for in a Style Icon?!?

Ethereal to say the least…It looks like someone waved a magic wand over a doll and she was given a heartbeat! Lily’s an otherworldly beauty.

god she is so amazing and incredibly beautiful. I loved her in “The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus”. She is stunning reminds me of old paintings. Very different look than what we see in every magazine.
