Take a Style Stance!

Miss James of Bleubird Vintage (left) and Jessica of What I Wore make a statement in the Take a Stance Tunic.  James styled it as a mini dress with hidden shorts, dramatic heels, and a slouchy cardi, while Jessica did a lil’ DIY magic and cropped hers. Both accentuated the top’s text by wearing white.  How would you wear this tunic?

About Turi

When Turi isn’t blogging, you can find her nose behind a book. But reading isn’t her only pastime. She loves running (cue jogging stroller), taste-testing pizza and burgers, and working on the next great American novel. Her latest homage to all things literary? Her son is named after writer Dashiell Hammett. How apropos.

I love the way Miss James has done it, definitely my style!
I’d wear it tucked into a calf-length skirt, with a pair of scrunched-down black socks and cute-as tan clogs.

I adore Miss James’ take on the look. I would cut the neck off the tunic and wear it off the shoulder. I’d tuck it into a white mini, and wear it with some chunky black platrom sandals.

I would probably take it in just a little bit at the waist, shorten the sleeves, and wear it as a minidress (shorts underneath) with white knee-highs (probably with a red trim) and black sneakers.

I love how Miss James wore it, I love her cardigan 😛 I’d probably wear it styled for summer, sleeves chopped off, into a tank style, shorten the hem, and style it a bit tucked into a white, or ombre blue flowing, long peasant maxi skirt, with sandals adorned with an yellow/orange flower 🙂 And, a casual style rhinestone wire headband to top it off.
This is a cute top, with a great message, thanks for carrying it!
