Have You Noticed This Beauty Micro-Trend? Introducing Vampy Veneers

Every August it happens, and yet, still I’m shocked.

I walk into a local craft or home decor store and there it is: The Halloween section, fully equipped with ghoulish trinkets in black and orange. Meanwhile, I’m over here wearing flip flops and wondering where the summer went. Per usual, brick-and-mortar venues are the only ones planning for All Hallow’s Eve.

But, much to my surprise, there are more people with October 31 on the brain! Yes, a curious pre-Halloween micro-trend seems to have appeared. Girls have started sporting fangs in their selfies (we first caught wind of it in a Nylon article). We didn’t believe it until we found a tutorial on how to take a True Blood selfie.

I’m not a huge fan of vampires, but I love cats, so in this way, I guess that having fangs is rather cute, and would be cool all year long. 🙂
